Lots of great things are happening at Gryphonwood! Here are just a few updates-
Gryphonwood Press has acquired the publication rights to Australian author Alan Baxter's Urban Fantasy/Horror novels RealmShift and MageSign. First published by Blade Red Press, these novels presume that the gods are all real, and are created by humankind. Hero Isiah must battle to keep the spiritual realms in check. Dark and sometimes controversial, Baxter's work has received critical acclaim from the horror and speculative fiction communities alike.
"I am extremely pleased that my dark fantasy thriller novels, RealmShift and MageSign, have been acquired by Gryphonwood Press in the US. This marks a move to a small press that is really going places," says Baxter. The new Gryphonwood versions of both books will be released on April 27. The Podiobook version of David Wood's historical fiction novella Into the Woods will be released April 28. Visit www.podiobooks.com to download it and many other free audiobooks!
Jim Bernheimer has delivered the manuscript of his new fantasy novel Spirals of Destiny: Rider. After the success of his urban fantasy Dead Eye: Pennies for the Ferryman, Bernheimer is making a foray into the more traditional fantasy realms, though readers will find this tale of female warriors and battle unicorns to be very different from your typical unicorn fantasy.
